A True Cinderella Story?! The Princess’ Origins!!
The tale goes, that the Princess favored a specific garden. Long abandoned, it sat in the woods, slowly being reclaimed by nature. Rose bushes thrived, and the abandoned fountains and ponds hosted fauna aplenty. It is said that the Princess would frolic with the fae, and sing to her heart’s content, amid the company of nature and its bounty. Family and friends noted that she loved the garden so much, she would dedicate herself to its caretaking, be it during holidays or events. So much so, she rarely spent any time at home! Her dedication was as admirable then as it is now.
It is her singing that drew the Prince to the garden, as he traveled the country as part of his royal duties. An enthralling experience it must have been, to hear the then future Princess sing with such freedom! And thus, the Prince fell in love. Even as the Blue Rose wreaked havoc upon our land, the Prince never faltered in his love, often spending time in the dangerous woods this garden resided in, searching for his beloved. It is no surprise that she would dedicate her life to the protection of our kingdom in return, just as the Prince dedicated his to her safety. It is a tale for the ages, befitting our first Pretty Princess in more than a century!
Long Live The Pretty Princess! Long Live The Gao Kingdom!
