Fact or Fiction?! The History of The Gao Kingdom!! Records of the Land of Rose Petals
Long, long before the Gao Kingdom was in place, before man and faerie had officially come together in friendship under the Pretty Prism Rod, was the Land of Rose Petals. It was described as a magical land within the forest. A small paradise, given unto humans and fae as a gift by the very first Pretty Princess after she cleansed our world of Zetsugao, the first gift of many. Considered by most to be the birthplace of the Gao Kingdom, it was here where human and fae lived, free from Zetsugaos, knowing only peace and harmony.
As the name suggests, it was a land of Roses, the very same as the ones throughout our kingdom today. Whenever the breeze picked up, flurries of rose petals would fly through the air, and the scent of roses would fill every corner of the land. Blessed with bountiful flora, flanked by a river, and containing a well with enough water to sustain the entire land, the inhabitants wanted for nothing. They were free to laugh and play every day, nurtured by the kindness of the Pretty Princess, and so it was a peaceful land, knowing nothing of sadness and despair.
Whatever happened to the Land of Rose Petals, no one can say. Records mention a return of the Zetsugao, and of the first appearance of blue roses in our history. As the Wars of the Roses commenced, much of our history fell into darkness...
However! Clearly, our Gao Kingdom’s roots are clearly visible throughout our beautiful and peaceful kingdom. We must never forget history, and continue to strive to improve are kingdom each and every day! Long Live the Gao Kingdom, and Long Live the Pretty Princess!
